ABOUT US

If it’s motivation that you need to get results, you need a BMF instructor. Here’s why:

Our instructors all have to have military experience. The military training each of our instructors have means they are used to dealing with all sorts of conditions. They are taught to deal with situations quickly and independently, and they have all experienced hard physical exercise which helps them understand what it is like to be a Bootcamp Military Fitness (BMF) member during a class.

Teamwork and our instructors’ infectious enthusiasm is what makes BMF special and successful. Knowledge is actively passed between all instructors, whether that is preparation and planning, or new techniques and exercises.

We are all striving for one goal, to make the sessions the most exciting and rewarding in the Qatar.

Extensive Training:

All BMF Instructors are qualified fitness instructors and personal trainers. Each instructor must take a 2 week instructors assessment before we accept them to be an instructor with BMF.

Training initially consists of taking part in, and observing classes. All instructors have assessments of their classes and annual refresher training. They all take part in practical training sessions, where they get trained in new techniques and look into different equipment options.

This training and development model enables us to manage our instructors to ensure your classes remain effective, challenging, fun and different.

Better than the others:

We know what works, and what doesn’t. We have all been involved in the fitness industry, and more importantly with a military background for many years.

An integral part of our training and development is preparation and planning, which we pride ourselves on. Whether it is making our classes effective and fun, or assessing trialist capabilities and fitness levels.

VARIED ACTIVITIES AND TECHNIQUES:

We integrate the use of equipment into classes, such as: kettlebells, medicine balls, rifle, boxing and many others. Themed sessions and challenges at parks are something we understand our members enjoy as well. So, all instructors are encouraged to try new activities which helps keep classes varied and interesting for all of our members.

CHARACTERISTICS A BMF INSTRUCTOR NEEDS:

All BMF instructors need to be knowledgeable and motivational, and to be able to adapt to changes quickly. They must have empathy, integrity and pride it what they do. But most importantly, our instructors are committed to supporting and encouraging our members with infectious enthusiasm. We have found that it helps if they have a good sense of humour, to keep the fun going throughout your classes.

INSTRUCTORS

Bootcamp Military Fitness instructors all have two things in common – a military background & fitness qualifications.

Our instructors are all former British military personnel, whom have since gained numerous health & fitness training qualifications.

It is this combination of experience & real-life training that gets us results. The military has drilled hard-work, a positive attitude & maximum effort into all our instructors. Our classes are about meeting new people & motivating them to achieve results.

THE BMF CONCEPT

Since 2014 Bootcamp Military Fitness have been taking Qatar by storm with our innovative outdoor bootcamps. In July 2016, we opened our very own indoor bootcamp space. Our sessions combine strength, cardio and core training to give you the most efficient and effective workout for improving your cardiovascular system, losing weight, gaining muscle and strength and improving your overall health and wellbeing. The idea behind our bootcamp sessions is to get people of all fitness levels together to train under the motivation of the ex-military physical training instructors. Every class is completely different so that our Bootcampers don’t get bored or try and guess what is coming next. Our Bootcampers will be challenged, motivated and also, have fun, while meeting new people!

The sessions outdoors will include using equipment such as Kettlebells, Rifles- are very own weighted bars, made to the weight of an actual rifle, and boxing gloves. Every workout is planned and structured so we can guarantee results! The indoor sessions include equipment, ranging from treadmills to dumbbells, rowing machines to TRXs, Tyres to medicine balls and many more to give you the most varied and exciting sessions in Qatar!

OUR AMENITIES

We use top of the range treadmills, custom designed for us by Woodway®. They are the finest commercial treadmills on the market and offer superior comfort- even for those who hate running! They are also eco-friendly, using half the electricity of your standard gym machine!

Concept 2 Rowers are another piece of cardio equipment that we use. These are great for a total body blitz. BMF also incorporate TRX® suspension trainers into our workouts.
